Listed Townhouse Renovation —Castellain Road, Maida Vale, London
This extensive listed townhouse refurbishment at 33 Castellain Road in Maida Vale, London, was completed over a five-year collaboration with our American clients, reflecting our expertise in high-end residential interior design, heritage property renovation, and period home refurbishment. The project seamlessly blends the charm of a historic London townhouse with the functionality and style required for modern family living.
The lower-ground floor and rear garden were completely redesigned to create a flexible, contemporary living hub, incorporating a bespoke kitchen, dining area, and TV lounge. The open-plan layout and thoughtful spatial planning maximise natural light, circulation, and connection to the outdoors, creating a home that is both practical and inviting.
On the entrance level, an elegant reception living room was introduced, showcasing sophisticated finishes and period-appropriate detailing while providing a welcoming space for entertaining. The first, second, and top floors were reconfigured to deliver modern family bedrooms and bathrooms, balancing functional design with architectural integrity. Throughout, bespoke joinery, luxury finishes, and careful attention to historic details ensure a cohesive blend of heritage character and contemporary interiors.
This Maida Vale townhouse renovation demonstrates our expertise in London residential refurbishment, listed building interior design, and bespoke home renovation for growing families, delivering a timeless, luxurious, and highly functional family home.
